The Redmi K50 Series Could Rival iPhone’s Haptics Technology

Redmi K50 Series

Xiaomi has given consumers a first look at its CyberEngine haptics motor, which is said to be comparable or even greater to Apple’s haptics technology on its iPhone models.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer recently shared details regarding the X-axis vibration motor and how it’s more powerful than current Android phone offerings. Codenamed ‘AAC 1016’, Xiaomi says that the CyberEngine ultra-wideband motor has a frequency range of 50Hz to 500Hz. This technology will be included in the upcoming Redmi K50 lineup.

CyberEngine manufacturer AAC took to social media and posted additional details regarding its component, boasting how the motor offers the most comfortable experience for the human body. The company added that the technology took three years to be completed and can be used on gamepads, vehicle screens, wearable devices and smartphones.

The up-and-coming K50 is said to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and 120W fast charging features, as well as dual VC liquid cooling. Xiaomi is preparing for the announcement and details regarding the Redmi K50 in February.
